1. I love to watch good television. I wish there were more of it.

2. This site has been around since 2003. There used to be a ton of old entries on it, but I grew up and started cringing every time I read my archives. Hence, they no longer exist.

3. I live in Georgia.

4. I was raised in Ohio.

5. I was born in New York.

6. I bought a laptop computer in March of 2006. Since then my desktop computer has been collecting dust.

7. I own a marmalade-colored cat named Abbey. She's somewhat overweight and my husband and I have made peace with it.

8. I am not a great cook, but I'm working on becoming one.

9. I'm a pretty good baker.

10. I have recently become an appreciator of wines. I like 1998 Sonoma Valley Merlots the best.

11. Chocolate cupcakes are my favorite.

12. I like to play with makeup but I think foundation and powder are the invention of the devil, meant to prematurely age us, thus perpetuating our need for them. Yeah. I've thought too hard about it.

13. I have a bad habit of cutting my hair, even though I like my hair best when it's long.

14. I am an avid digital photographer. You can look at my work on Flickr. It's not all fabulous stuff, but I make no claims on anything other than good luck when I do get a good shot.

15. I would like to have a Nikon D70. So would my husband. One of these days, one of us will. It will be good.

16. I have only two wisdom teeth, the ones on top. They have grown in with relatively little fanfare. The two on the bottom have never existed. Dental oddity. Go fig.

17. My father died of colon cancer when I was twelve. It feels like a lifetime ago.

18. One of my brothers died when I was sixteen. It sucked and truthfully I don't remember very much about it, except that it sucks and I miss him.

19. At this very moment, I have more kitchen counter space than I ever have in my life. I never cared when I was a kid, but kitchen real estate is precious now.

20. I am a college graduate. I have my A.S. in Economics. In my excitement over graduating I forgot to do my FAFSA this year, so it will be next year before I get back into the race for a Bachelor's. That's okay though, it buys me some time to figure out what I want to major in.

21. The West Wing made me want to be a political advisor, but then again Top Gun made me want to be a Navy pilot. The moral? I am easily seduced by the media.

22. I am horribly cluttered. I now accept it as part of my dubious charm.

23. I make jewelry. I'm pretty sweet at it, but my wrist gets sore quickly from using the pliers these days, so I don't crank out quite the volume I used to.

24. I have more grey hair than I am willing to admit. Thank goodness for blond highlights.

25. My favorite movie is Tombstone. I can quote it backward and forward.

26. I am never taking another gym class again. Scuba was horrific.

27. As years have passed I have begun to really contemplate the existence of a higher, benevolent power in the universe. The goodness (and evil) in the world lead me to believe that something wiser than us has a hand in the workings of the universe. I strongly suspect that in a few years my beliefs will solidify into something more recognizable. What it will be is as much a mystery to me as anyone else.

28. Every day, as the day progresses, I make a list of my blessings as I think of them. I smile a lot more now because of it.

29. I love Faygo Redpop. It's hard to find down here though.

30. My favorite lazy food is Velveeta shells and cheese. Abbey loves the cheese sauce too. I can even get my husband to enjoy it if I add a can of tuna to it after it's done cooking.

31. I prefer chunky peanut butter to smooth peanut butter.

32. We have an outdoor cat named Zoey. She is small, graceful, rangy, and adorable. We love her very much. She doesn't much cotton to being indoors though, since she can't seem to get along with Abbey.

33. I sold Avon for about three weeks. It was a weird three weeks.

34. My favorite colors are purple, orange, and teal.

35. I can type about fifty words per minute. My handwriting sure isn't what it used to be though.

36. We have a friend named Dave who is a starving artist. Well, he would be a starving artist if we stopped feeding him. Update: David now lives six hours north of us. As far as I can tell his new girlfriend is doing a good job of reminding him to eat.

37. I love apples. They're tasty. But only the Red Delicious kind. I tried to eat a Roma Apple for a snack once and it was all grainy and flavorless and whatnot. I didn't like that apple much, but it did photograph pretty well. It's somewhere in my Flickr account.

38. I can read Spanish. I can listen and speak to a certain extent, but my verbal communication has always lagged behind my written expression.

39. I have a Myspace profile. Life is much easier when you lower your standards.

40. I never wear a watch when I'm on vacation. Why would I?
